The Role

We are looking for a part-time retail assistant that is interested in working in our Bristol stores. The person would also be interested in helping with our marketing on social media; managing stock and communicating with makers; assisting with the management of the online website, taking product photography and even help us make products on-site when the shop is quiet. 

Background

Prior Shop is an independent Not-For-Profit Conscious Lifestyle Shop in Bristol that showcases some of the UK's upcoming and leading responsible designers. ​Committed to conscious living and consumption, we showcase beautiful design-led, handcrafted work that is made responsibly, sustainably and mindfully.

We also have a workshop space, gallery and are a community hub in Bristol's City Centre. We also offer free business mentoring to our makers, spearhead collaborative community projects and offer advice and support to the wider creative community.

We have two stores in Bristol. Our original little shop is in Old Market and we now have a huge second shop in the City Centre. Duration

13 hours (every other weekend)

Proposed days (rotating weeks)

  • Week 1: Saturday 10am – 6.30pm and Sunday 11am – 5pm
  • OFF

*More hours available during school holidays, Christmas period and to cover staff holidays and sickness.
