Freja uses traditional techniques of turning, whittling and hand finishing on her wooden products, which results in jewellery which feels comforting against the skin.
Native slow grown species are sourced from local tree surgeons and offcuts from local furniture makers. Freja designs to make the most effective use of this beautiful natural product. Earrings are made from the offcuts of hairpins, which are made from the offcuts of bowls. A proper zero-waste maker!

Every 1-2 months, treat your wooden accessory with food-safe wood oils, such as mineral oil or coconut oil, for the first year. See the oil as a moisturiser - when the wood seems slightly dry, apply treatment.
