This unique woodcut has been hand carved into salvaged lino and printed on handmade Nepalese paper.
All aspects of Rosanna Morris' prints are printed by hand from the paper to the printing press named Bouboulina that her husband made. Rosanna draws out each design in pencil and ink, and then transfers it on to reclaimed wood. She hand carves the design using a selection of traditional tools, mindfully and slowly as any 'mistake' can not be rubbed out. The result: an uplifting print with rich texture. You can physically see the making process due to the mark making and relief from the printing press.
This particular artwork features hands holding a big bunch of blooms.
