Hand-thrown on the potter's wheel, this stoneware mug features an ergonomic groove around the middle - ideal for holding satisfyingly in your hand as you drink.
Description
Made by Florence in her Bristol studio, this minimal, contemporary cup is the ideal accompaniment to an afternoon cuppa or mid-morning coffee. Thrown from a hand-blended mixture of white and basalt-flecked stoneware, the tiny speckles are brought to life when covered with a matte, crystalline glaze, and fired to 1265 degrees centigrade. The inside is covered in a transparent glaze to aid easy cleaning! Coffee stains be gone!
Finished with Florence's maker's mark on the bottom, this timeless design is one that will look even better with age. The handle is hand-pulled onto the form of the mug, meaning that it feels incredibly pleasing to the touch as the thumb can naturally rest in the groove created by the potter's hand.
