A radiant glitter design in pink and blue, celebrating the vibrant spirit of Bristol’s iconic hot air balloons in their vivid, colourful brilliance.
Description
All of Bethan's lino prints are meticulously burnished by hand. Each design begins as a pencil sketch, drawn directly from observation, and is then transferred onto lino made from compressed waste wood and linseed oil. Using a variety of Swiss carving tools, Bethan hand-carves the image with precision. She employs techniques such as mono printing (using a single colour), jigsaw methods, or the reduction process to achieve a variety of finishes in soft, muted tones.
