Hand-thrown in Bristol by Nicholas Dover, these delightful little 'yunomi' style cups are one-of-a-kind. Featuring subtle hand-carved grooves along the outside of the cup, their form is brought to life with a single line of black accent around the rim.
Description
Nicholas' maker's mark - his signature if you will - is written in underglaze on the underside of these little cups. Fantastically light in the hand, they are a celebration of simple forms, elevated by intentional design. Featuring a hand-turned foot ring, they stand a little proud from the table, which creates a small shadow underneath the base, adding dimension and an element of architectural beauty to the piece. Left raw on the outside, they are glazed with a transparent glaze on the inside, and therefore are fully food-safe.
