Beautiful and unique handmade porcelain vase, created at the potters wheel by local Bristol based artist Nicholas Dover.
Description
A stunning piece, this vase is incredibly striking without being too 'loud'. It has a unique cobalt and rutile crystalline glaze, which gives mottled shades of cobalt with a slight pinkish hue. it has been twice to enhance the crystalline patterns. The inside is coated with a clear glaze.
The base features Nicholas' maker's mark, painted in black.
While it's safe for the dishwasher and microwave, we would recommend hand-washing it for longevity of the glaze.
The vase was fired in a kiln to a temperature of 1255°C in an oxidizing environment.
