Hand-built wild-harvested ceramic pot, with a hand-poured, unscented soy wax candle in the interior.
Description
These pots are made using wild harvested clay, dug up and processed by hand in Bristol. The first edition pieces are made from Wildclay Workshop's own clay, affectionately named ‘Roundhouse red’, after extracting the first load during a garden building project. The clay has an iron rich body and, when fired, it produces a warm, deep red colour. Surface and texture are fundamental to the aesthetic of the work with themes of remote landscapes and connection to place.
Candle burn time is approx. 8-10 hours.
