Katie Victoria - Knitted Textile Design

Katie Victoria Katie Victoria Davies

Katie Victoria works at her studio in Swansea, South West Wales where she creates her collections. Working on a hand powered domestic knitting machine she creates a variety of fabrics and products from hats and scarves to ponchos and cushions, combining high quality merino lambswool and cotton yarns.

Taking inspiration from cultural architecture, Moroccan tile ceramics and Scandinavian textiles, she designs and creates individual fabrics for fashion and interiors.
Katie’s products have a unique visual and luxury finish, geometric patterns and individual colour combinations give a contemporary look to her collections. The exploration of colour and pattern is central to her design approach, while construction and attention to detail are an equally important element of the creative process.
