About

Lola Jemibewon is the founder of Young Mary’s. The name Young Mary’s comes from Lola's grandmother, who raised her when she was young. Lola, who currently calls the UK her home, moved to Nigeria from the US and fell in love with the beauty the country and the land of Africa have to offer. She has always loved making candles and uses this hobby as a way to share her love for her motherland with the world.

Sustainability

Lola uses a blended vegetable wax sourced from the UK to produce her candles. We use paper bubble wrap and loose fill to secure everything we ship. The loose fill we use is starch-based, compostable, and 100% biodegradable.
