The Bristol Weaving Mill is a small, independent micro-mill based in the heart of Bristol, run by a pair of experienced weavers who are passionate about creating high-quality woven textiles. Combining traditional weaving methods with a modern approach to design, they produce everything from large fabric rolls to small-run pieces for artists, designers, and more creative projects.

They place great value on the materials they use. Through long-standing relationships with their suppliers, many of their yarns can be traced all the way back to their source — sometimes even to the individual animals the fibres came from.

Sustainability

The blankets we stock at PRIOR are made from surplus yarn collected over the years at the Mill — leftover from a wide range of commissions. This thoughtful use of existing materials helps prevent waste and makes use of high-quality yarn that might otherwise go unused.
