Founded by milliner Jen in West Yorkshire, The Capalog is a small-batch collection of handmade hats, each one stitched with care on a vintage Bernina sewing machine. With a background in theatrical costume design, Jen brings years of experience and a deep appreciation for craft to every piece she creates. These caps are a true labour of love – the result of countless hours spent studying and perfecting traditional hat patterns.

Sustainability

Crafted using responsibly sourced, 100% organic cotton canvas in soft, neutral tones, these hats beautifully blend the old with the new. The designs nod to classic, almost retro shapes, yet feel fresh thanks to their modern colour palette and contemporary craftsmanship.

Every cap is made entirely from scratch — with flat patterns drafted by hand and carefully tailored into their final forms. Jen’s commitment to slow fashion is woven into every step of the process. She works closely with trusted fabric suppliers and selects materials with sustainability and longevity in mind.
