Young Mary's - Lola

Young Mary's - Lola

Lola Jemibewon is the candle maker and designer behind the brand young Mary's. Lola moved to Nigeria from the US and fell in love with how much beauty the country and land of Africa has to offer. She has always loved making candles and uses this hobby as a way to spread her love of her motherland across the world. The name young mary's comes from Lola's grandmother who raised her when she was young.

Lola is passionate about all things Africa, she loves getting off the beaten track and exploring the beautiful towns and cities. To date she's been to a quarter of the continent and has a life goal of stepping foot in each country! She would love to visit to your school, office, church or community event to share some stories and adventures of life in the Motherland so do get in touch if you'd like to invite her along. Lola loves to #lightamatch and #strikeaconversation and would love you to join in too.
