Zoe is an artist, designer and maker working from her home studio and based in Bristol, UK. She works in a variety of mediums but mostly uses a combination of leather and suede. Almost all of her materials are waste and scrap from other makers who she knows through the industry who intentionally save any off-cuts for her.
Zoe aims to be zero waste or as close to it as she possibly can be. She only uses non toxic glues and when finishing off pieces there is no plastic used! All her leather is sewn on a hand crank 1924 singer sewing machine, it never fails her and uses no electricity. This, the use of reclaimed materials and the zero waste process keeps Zoe's carbon footprint low!
