Sputnik Jewellery is a distinctive Somerset-based jewellery brand inspired by industrial heritage and bold, eclectic design. All pieces are handcrafted in the UK, with collections that blend form, texture and story. The founder, Harriet, also offers bespoke work, creating personalised pieces that reflect each client’s vision and the unique materials used. 

From elegant rings and pendants to statement pieces, Sputnik Jewellery reimagines traditional craftsmanship through an industrial lens, producing wearable art that is both meaningful and visually striking. Each piece tells a story, connecting the wearer to its creative journey.

Sustainability

Sustainability is central to Sputnik Jewellery’s practice. Only upcycled silver is used, with copper sourced from waste cable or old plumbing. Nothing goes to waste - even metal dust is reused. Materials from surfboard glazing and car paint spraying in South Wales are incorporated, alongside UK-sourced gemstones. Tools are often second-hand, and the workshop operates from a garage, keeping the footprint minimal.

Packaging is recycled and reusable cardboard, avoiding printed boxes. This careful approach ensures waste is minimal and materials that might otherwise end up in landfill are given a new life. By combining ethical sourcing, upcycling and local production, Sputnik Jewellery creates pieces that are not only beautiful, but sustainable and community-minded.
