Description
Big double sided cushion (back is plain indigo) with two moon motif created with tie resist circles.
Made with Tamay & Me's signature handspun, handwoven cotton cloth and dyed by hand with naturally fermented indigo, it has been dipped in the indigo vat 12 times to give it the rich, deep blue colour you see here. The tie resist is added by Lan and her daughters and daughters-in-law in the mountains near Sapa.
Sewn in Hanoi by Lan.
The reverse of this cushion is plain navy.
