These eco friendly, sustainable and really beautiful reusable food wraps are a great alternative to cling film. The perfect addition to your kitchen and an easy way to reduce your plastic use.
Description
Cocoon’s beeswax wraps are naturally dyed by hand using sustainably foraged leaves and leftover kitchen waste, natural minerals and minimal water. The beauty of this centuries old craft is its low impact, locality and traceability, not to mention the individuality of each piece of fabric that comes from the dye vat.
Made from European organic hemp, which is stronger and more durable than cotton, the wraps are 100% biodegradable. Hemp is also a more sustainable choice as it enriches the soil as it grows, it needs no pesticides, it is fast growing, it needs less land and only 1/5 of the water to grow than the equivalent weight in cotton.
These products are made to last, and through considered design choices, when they reach the end of their useable life you can pop them in with your compost.
