This cushion is super soft and a gorgeous deep mustard yellow, hand woven using Manos del Uruguay yarn.
Woven by hand on a countermarch floor loom, this cushion is made using ethically-sourced materials.
Manos del Uruguay is a non-profit organisation that supports local women to make a living while remaining in their local village and raising their families. They are renowned for their fantastic colours which have become their trademark and have been producing beautiful, natural fibre, hand-dyed yarns since 1968.
The cushion backing fabric is 100% organic, lightly textured eco cotton.
Cushion pad filling eco fibre is made from post consumer PET plastic bottles, otherwise destined for landfill, these plastic bottles are reprocessed to create a fibre stuffing. Made in the UK.
This eco-friendly cushion cover has been pre-washed, and the insert comes included.
Materials and Care
100% pure, mulesed free lambswool.
Recycled bottle cushion pad filling
Due to the delicate nature of the material, the cushion cover should be spot cleaned and can also be lint rolled to remove any extra fluff.
Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a small amount of detergent or wool wash. Dry flat.
