Safety Switched - this lamp holder is for adding to a lamp base. It has a safety switch that can only be turned on when there is a bulb attached and one shade ring. You may need other components to attach it to your base. Please click here.
Pendant- this lamp holder comes with a cord grip. It's for hanging pendant lamps so the weight isn't held via the connected cables..
Plugs - all plugs come with a 3am fuse.
All lamp parts are in 3 - 4 parts comprising of the base which has either the cord grip which is designed to take the weight of the holder and bulb (rather than but strain on the small cables inside), or a threaded 10mm base. The ceramic terminal which is where you connect the live (Brown) and neutral (Blue) and Earth (Yellow and Green), then the finishing cap which will connect everything together.
