Reminders of growth and seeds, this lino print brings warmth and life into any space.
Description
This lino print is inspired by heritage seeds, seed banks and the food sovereignty movement internationally. This lino print is a deep red colour, perfect for bringing warmth into any space without clashing with other colours.
All aspects of Rosanna Morris' prints are completed by hand - from the paper to the printing press named Bouboulina that her husband made. Rosanna draws out each design in pencil and ink, and then transfers it on to reclaimed wood or lino. She hand carves the design using a selection of traditional tools, mindfully and slowly as any 'mistake' can not be rubbed out. The result: an uplifting print with rich texture. You can physically see the making process due to the mark making and relief from the printing press.
