This woodcut has been hand carved on salvaged lino and printed on handmade Nepalese paper.
A striking and bold design featuring hands holding and planting seeds printed in black or ochre ink.
All of Rosanna's prints are printed by hand on her handmade etching press, Bouboulina. Because of this subtle variations will occur from print to print.
Printed onto handmade Lokta paper. Lokta is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills. It is a sustainable and renewable resource, plants are cropped above ground level and can be reharvested after 3-4 years. The papers are made using the traditional Nepalese floating mould method and sun dried on the frame.
