Hand-thrown in Bristol by Nicholas Dover and glazed in his beautiful blue/green 'Grain' glaze, these bowls are an example of very fine craftsmanship.
Description
Nicholas' maker's mark - his signature if you will - is visible on the underside of the bowl, in the centre of the turned foot ring. The speckled stoneware clay imparts a beautiful textural change as the glaze flows over the form - breaking slightly darker on the rim and creating an almost waterfall-like effect on the surface of the bowl. Lovely stuff.
