Elegance and strength are brought together in this delicate sea glass and recycled silver collection. The glass, that was once a functional object, has been reformed and polished by the sea over many years, and is now captured in silver as a piece of wearable art.
Seaglass jewellery is very popular and it’s not a new trend. Humans have been making glass for over 4000 years and alongside this, nature has been creating sea glass.
This collection from Shiryn Jewellery is handmade using recycled silver. This is Sterling Silver that has been melted down and reformed; it is not contributing to the devastating mining of new silver. The glass is foraged by Shirley herself and each ring is completely unique as no two pieces of sea glass are the same.

It’s advised to remove silver jewellery when bathing and swimming and chemicals and cleaning products may tarnish the precious metal. If storing your silver, keep it tarnish free by using a cleaning cloth or anti- tarnish pad. It’s the prolonged exposure to oxidisation that makes it change colour. If you wear silver jewellery regularly, your natural skin oils usually keeps the silver tarnish free.
