This print was originally created as a hand carved lino cut and then has been re-worked as a risoprint giving great depth to the garden scene. Based on a friend of the artist who is both a gardener and florist and derives great joy from tending her garden

Risoprint - Each colour is printed using a separate drum and must be done in layers. Riso is one of the most environmentally friendly printing processes and the nature of the technique creates a unique and imperfect charm.
Tree free paper - Warm creamy white semi-smooth paper with minimal surface flecks, made from annually renewable bamboo, cotton and bagasse (sugar cane pulp). This makes the paper very eco-friendly as it has zero forestry impact. 250 gsm.
