Description
This handmade cup is perfect for a small drink of your choice, hot/cold, fizzy/flat! The handmade cup has been carved around the edge to make for an interesting geometric feel! The handmade cup has hand thrown in porcelain, with a pale carbon trap shino glaze. The handmade cup all have unique marks from the carbon trap, adding a ash covered affect and cool tones!
Nicholas' maker's mark - his signature if you will - is written in underglaze on the underside of these little cups. Fantastically light in the hand, they are a celebration of simple forms, elevated by intentional design. Featuring a hand-turned foot ring, they stand a little proud from the table, which creates a small shadow underneath the base, adding dimension and an element of architectural beauty to the piece. Left raw on the outside, they are glazed with a transparent glaze on the inside, and therefore are fully food-safe.
