Stitching Me Softly - Emma Bassey

  Stitching Me Softly

Emma Bassey runs Stitching Me Softly, a Bristol based business specialising in crochet and a variety of craft kits.

Emma has always been a creative person, she first picked up crochet whilst pregnant with her second daughter, teaching herself different techniques. She then spent some time developing and experimenting with her new skills before launching Stitching Me Softly as a small business in 2017.

It all began with designing baby and children’s items as she wanted something specific for her own children that she couldn’t find on the high street.

Emma is drawn to simple geometric shapes and contrasting colour pallets which is reflected in her crochet designs. She is eco conscious when planning her products, using recycled materials as much as possible.
