Hand-thrown in Bristol by Nicholas Dover, these delightful little 'yunomi' style cups are fantastically light in the hand. A celebration of simple forms, elevated by intentional design.
Description
Nicholas' maker's mark - his signature if you will - is written in underglaze on the underside of these little cups. Featuring a hand-turned foot ring, they stand a little proud from the table, which creates a small shadow underneath the base, adding dimension and an element of architectural beauty to the piece. A particularly glossy glaze, the bottom section of the cup is left raw, creating a delightful textural change.
