Add warmth to any room with this unique, one-of-a-kind original print. It'll enrich your home as the texture from the carving and printing process is mesmerising.
Description
The illustration has been hand carved into salvaged lino, then printed on handmade Nepalese paper using a handmade printing press.
All aspects of Rosanna Morris' prints are completed by hand - from the paper to the printing press named Bouboulina that her husband made. Rosanna draws out each design in pencil and ink, and then transfers it on to reclaimed wood or lino. She hand carves the design using a selection of traditional tools, mindfully and slowly as any 'mistake' can not be rubbed out. The result: an uplifting print with rich texture. You can physically see the making process due to the mark making and relief from the printing press.
This particular artwork features hands holding a big bunch of beautiful blooms.
