Even when you try, it's not easy to look away from them. Vases are eye-catchers as centerpieces on a table or as small decorations on a shelf. These saw dust and plant resin vases make them as talking point too.
Let the flowers speak for themselves, but make sure they're heard. A beautiful posy of flowers always makes your home look lovely but when you pair it with the right vase, it looks even better, especially as they are using up waste materials and made in-house by our brilliant team.
Materials
These small vases come in different colors and are crafted from leftover sawdust from the Priormade studio which gives each vase a grainy and unique depth of colour. This is mixed with plant-based resin and pigment, which gives each vase such a deep shine.
Plant-based resin is a high plant and vegetable biomass plastic. It is a cleaner alternative to plastic. It is UV stable so will not fade in sunlight and is incredibly durable. The vases are 100% waterproof and highly resistant to damage. We are pleased to have created a product that not only will last a long time (isn't prone to breaking and ending up in landfill) but also re-purposes sawdust waste.
Dimensions
Sizes vary between W 4.3cm - 5.5cm x H 8cm - 11cm
Each vase is handmade by mixing the 3 components together and pouring the mixture into the moulds. The interesting stages of the materials can be seen in the final vases. For example, colours can vary slightly between batches (depending on original wood colour that the saw dust is from) and there may be tiny air bubbles or darker areas where the saw dust has pooled.
Care
These vases need very little care. They are robust, durable and 100% waterproof. If dropped from a height onto a very hard surface, they may chip.
