Hand carved lino print of 'Mary' harvesting and tending to her market garden, printed onto handmade paper and carved on salvaged lino.
Description
Inspired by her friend Mary, Rosanna Morris has created a wonderful testament to the hard work and care that goes into nurturing a green space. This print is ideal for anyone who understands or shares the same sentiment.
Rosanna creates all of her nature inspired prints by hand carving into either salvaged lino or wood and printed onto handmade Nepalese Lokta paper. Lokta is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills. It is a sustainable and renewable resource, plants are cropped above ground level and can be re-harvested after 3-4 years.
All of Rosanna's prints are printed by hand on her handmade etching press, Bouboulina. Because of this subtle variations will occur from print to print.
