Description
Individually hand-printed onto paper under the summer sun and developed in a water bath.
Cyanotype is a 19th century photographic method of printing, producing a beautiful cyan-blue print. Also known as a ‘blue print’ or ‘sun print’. Traditionally the process was used as a simple way to reproduce photographs, maps, and technical drawings.
•Fitting: E27, with B22 reducer. (Will fit EU and UK lamp holders)
•Each one is individually printed by me, Claire in Bristol
•Lamp base sold separately
•Each lampshade is unique and are individually cyanotype printed so slight variations may occur
•Despite being a light sensitive process, once the print is fixed they are very light fast and should not fade.
