A beautiful, striking print, handmade by Bristol-based artist/maker Rosanna Morris.
Description
This print was carved from salvaged wood and is printed on handmade Nepalese Lokta paper. Rosanna uses non toxic professional printmaking inks and wraps all her prints in plastic free packaging.
Lokta is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills found above 3000 metres. It is a sustainable and renewable resource. Plants are cropped above ground level and can be reharvested after 3-4 years. The papers are made using the traditional Nepalese floating mould method and sun dried on the frame.
